<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a β-glucuronidase inhibitor which is a naturally occurring substance and therefore has few side effects and a drug which can reduce development of bladder cancer or colon cancer by searching crude drugs and compounds having β-glucuronidase inhibitory activity. <P>SOLUTION: The β-glucuronidase inhibitor contains at least one chosen from Akebiae Caulis, Gardeniae Fructus, Rhei Rhizoma, Corydalis Tuber, Bambusae Caulis, Quercus Cortex, Burdock Fruit, Uncaria Thorn, Cinnamon Bark, Schizonepetae Herba, Scutellariae Radix and Coptidis Rhizoma. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
