<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve gains in a plurality of systems and to perform high-quality communication while saving power in the systems in a multiband radio equipment wherein the plurality of systems of different communication forms are integrated. <P>SOLUTION: A first antenna 101 functions as a non-directional multiband antenna. A first transmission/reception section 103 and a second transmission/reception section 105 demodulate received signals by setting a predetermined frequency for each received signal in each of communication systems. In accordance with a communication system judged from a received signal, a control signal analysis section 107 controls switching of the first antenna 101, an antenna duplexer 102, the first transmission/reception section 103, a second antenna 114, and the second transmission/reception section 105.
