PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress lowering of contrast and luminance in an optoelectronic device, caused by incident light, having passed through a pixel opening region, refracted therein and further made incident on a TFT and wiring. SOLUTION: An organic flattening film 52 having a refractive index equal to that of a glass substrate 10 and having a surface parallel to that of the glass substrate 10, a third interlayer insulating film 48 and a capacitor insulating film 40 having refractive indexes higher than that of the glass substrate 10, and a second interlayer insulating film 34 having a refractive index equal to that of the glass substrate 10 are sequentially formed on the glass substrate 10 seen from a liquid crystal layer 70. By representing an incident angle and a refraction angle of light at an interface between the organic flattening film 52 and the third interlayer insulating film 48 on a slope 74 respectively asαandβ, and by representing film thickness of the third interlayer insulating film 48 and the capacitor insulating film 40 in the vicinity of the slope 74 as T<SB>1</SB>, an end face of source-drain wiring 30, seen in a direction parallel to a surface of the glass substrate 10, is formed on the outside of the pixel opening region with an interval X from a slope end part 74A on the light shielding pattern 44 side in the organic flattening film 52, shown with the following equation X=(T<SB>1</SB>/cosβ)×sin(α-β), or larger.
