PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dispensing device of high reliability capable of determining surely the occurrence of blocking of a nozzle, shortage of a liquid sample and the like. SOLUTION: This dispensing device 10 comprises the nozzle 14 for sucking and delivering the liquid sample 12; a pressure sensor (pressure detecting means) 16 for detecting pressure inside the nozzle 14; a pressure difference totalizing means 18 for calculating continuously differential valuesΔP in a prescribed time difference of pressure signals P output from the pressure sensor 16, and for totalizing the series of already calculated-out differential values of a prescribed number including the differential valueΔP calculated in the last, in every calculation of the differential valuesΔP, so as to calculate sequentially a totalized pressure difference valueΣΔP; and an operation condition determination means 20 for comparing sequentially the totalized pressure difference valueΣΔP with a prescribed reference value S to determine an operation condition.
