<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a smoking exhaust gas utilizing method for effectively utilizing combustible gas components and heat energy of smoking exhaust gas. <P>SOLUTION: The smoking exhaust gas generated from a smoking zone 3 passes through a first heat exchanger 7 and a second heat exchanger 8 continuously provided for heat exchange with air to remove heat therefrom. The smoking exhaust gas cooled by heat removal is guided via a gas pipe 14 to a burner 11 of a preheating body 1 or a burner 20 of a firing body 2 and used as burner fuel. Otherwise, it is mixed with fuel gas such as LPG and used as burner fuel. First hot air generated in the first heat exchanger 7 is guided to an air inlet 9 of a preheating zone 1 to preheat a non-fired ceramic ware.
