PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical demultiplexing system which can demultiplex an inputted luminous flux with good accuracy relating to the optical demultiplexing system which demultiplexes the light inputted to an input waveguide and outputs the light from a plurality of output waveguides. SOLUTION: The optical demultiplexing system (100) for demultiplexing the inputted light and outputting the light from the plurality of the output waveguides has a converging path (191) for converging the luminous flux of the input light, a demultiplexing path (193) for demultiplexing the luminous flux converged by the converging path (191), and expanding paths (196a and 196b) for expanding the light demultiplexed by the demultiplexing path (193) and supplying the light to the plurality of the output waveguides (197a and 197b).
