FIELD: furniture industry, in particular, production of upholstered transformable furniture. ^ SUBSTANCE: sofa-bed and armchair-bed have tubular carcass incorporating rear wall, back with frame and seat with frame, said back and seat being connected with one another through transformation mechanism composed of pair of levers. Additional soft member with frame is mounted on carcass between rear wall and back by means of two-lever mechanisms. Carcass has linen receiving cavity. Seat, back and additional soft member are equipped with foamed polyurethane soft members and flexible scale-like members. Upon transformation of sofa-bed into bed and of armchair-bed into bed, seat and back are automatically closed with protective-decorative cover. ^ EFFECT: simplified construction, reduced weight, increased comfort, and convenient use. ^ 6 cl, 5 dwg |
