FIELD: mechanical engineering; technological processes of stabilizing vibration treatment of axisymmetric parts, such as shafts after heat treatment and machining. ^ SUBSTANCE: vibration stabilization includes securing of one end of part and applying power in form of varying torque to free end, thus obtaining resonance mode of operation of device. Device is provided with central gear, two similar gear wheels rotated by central gear and provided with unbalanced weights for forming unbalance equal in modulus and opposite in phase. Flexible member secured on device body and made in form of torsion bar is used to increase effect of torsional vibrations. Torsional rigidity of this member is selected from condition of resonance between angular velocity of rotation of gear wheels and natural angular velocity of device. ^ EFFECT: possibility of treatment in resonance mode irrespective of natural frequencies of part at retained smooth distribution of varying stresses in entire volume. ^ 3 dwg |
