FIELD: packaging and banding equipment. ^ SUBSTANCE: packaging machine has housing incorporating pulled-back tape receiving section, inside which unused tape is stored and from which it is fed. Tape is additionally fed from spool. Rotational velocity of contact roller is determined, when length of tape fed by feeding device from spool is insufficient. When rotational velocity does not change, rotation goes on at constant velocity and end part of tape is not set in predetermined position of frame, it means that spool is free from tape. Signal is then generated to stop feeding of tape by rotating roller. ^ EFFECT: increased efficiency, provision for determining state when tape is fully spent from spool. ^ 12 cl, 5 dwg |
