The circuit is supplied by an AC voltage input signal at two inputs. One component (1) consists of two capacitors (C1,C2) connected one behind the other, and a switch element (S1). The first connections (A11,A21) of the two capacitors are joined to one another via the switch component. The input signal is fed via two signal lines (SL1,SL2) to the second connections (A12,A22) of the two capacitors. Between the connections (A11,A21) of a capacitor connected to the switch element (S1) and the connections of the other capacitor connected to the signal lines an output voltage is applied, the amplitude of which is greater than that of the input signal.
