PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing of high sealability comprising a contact type seal capable of properly keeping the lubrication of a raceway ring and a sliding contact part for a long period. SOLUTION: A deep groove ball bearing comprises an inner ring 1, an outer ring 2, a plurality of rolling elements 3 rotatably mounted between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring, a cage 4 for holding the plurality of rolling elements 3 between the inner ring 1 and the outer ring 2, and the contact type seal 5 having a seal lip part 51 composed of a rubber composition. The seal lip part 51 of the contact type seal 5 is composed of the rubber composition mainly composed of raw rubber of acrylic rubber, nitrile rubber and the like, and the rubber composition includes microcapsules including at least one of oil, grease and additives for lubricant.
