<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, in which energy is saved by having the function of collecting a scatter of toner without the use of filter and by adding the function of utilizing exhaust heat. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes toner carriers 13 and electrostatic latent image carriers 15 and develops electrostatic latent images on the electrostatic latent image carriers 13 with toner adhered to the toner carriers 15. The image forming apparatus has in it a blowing fan 31, a heating source 40, and a heat-generating body 7 that generates heat by the action of the heat source. The blowing fan 31 is disposed in such a position as to create an air current in a space extending to the developing area, and the heat-generating body 7 is disposed at a position which is in contact with the air current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
