PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an open roof construction exhibiting a force for moving an open roof panel structure regardless of the moving position thereof. SOLUTION: A linking member 13 further comprises a driven slide 20 housed in the guide 11, the slide 20 is movably connected to the linking arm 14 at a location positioned at the same side outside of the line connecting the guide members 11 as the second end 18 of the linking arm 14.
