PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk housing body which houses surely an optical disk without using an important center hole affecting reproduction of the optical disk when it is damaged, and which copes with automatic loading of the optical disk by a robot in an assembly process of the optical disk housing body. SOLUTION: In an optical disk holding part 4 provided on a substrate 2 to hold the optical disk in the optical disk housing body 1 freely attachably and detachably, a side wall member 5 surrounding an periphery of the optical disk is projectingly provided on the substrate so as to prevent slip out of the optical disk toward a horizontal direction, a locking member 8 preventing slip out of the optical disk to an upper plane direction is formed by bending for this side wall member, and also, the locking member is freely made warp to an outer peripheral direction to enable housing the optical disk from the upper side of the optical disk holding part.
