PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump for an electronic controlled brake system, with an inlet valve whose opening operation is smoothed by improving the construction of the inlet valve. SOLUTION: The inlet valve has a valve seat 70a formed at the end of a piston, an opening/closing member 83 installed on the valve seat 70a, an elastic member 61 for applying elastic force to the opening/closing member 83 to be pushed against the valve seat 70a, and a retainer 60 storing the opening/closing member 83 and the elastic member 61.
