PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas chromatograph of structure more simplified than conventional one and reduced in a cost. SOLUTION: A control valve 16, a pressure sensor 11, a flow passage resistance 14, and a differential pressure sensor 15 for measuring a differential pressure between both ends of the flow passage resistance 14 are arranged in this order from an upper stream in a carrier gas supply flow passage 13, output signals p1,Δp of the two sensors are input into a control part 10, prescribed computation is carried out, a flow rate of carrier gas is controlled by regulating an opening degree of the control valve 16 on the basis of a result therein, and a (p1-Δp) value is output and displayed as column top pressure to dispense with a sensor for measuring internal pressure of a sample introducing part 17.
