PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser range finder for measuring distance especially with precision and ease. SOLUTION: The laser range finder is a range finder for measuring distance to a target, and comprises a multifrequency signal generation module (50) for generating first, second, and third reference signals; a laser diode (10) for discharging pulse beams to the target, based on the third reference signal; a light receiving unit (11) for receiving pulse beams reflected from the target and outputting a measurement signal obtained by mixing a signal by the pulse beams and the first reference signal; a first measurement module for measuring the time difference between the occurrence point of the third reference signal and that of a measurement signal; a second measurement module for measuring the phase difference between the measurement signal and the second reference signal; and a CPU (60) for calculating distance to the target, based on the time difference and phase difference.
