PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing apparatus which has a small ratio of a time for restricting a CPU for controlling an LCD. SOLUTION: In this printing apparatus, a controller is constituted so that a memory control circuit 23 having the function of successively transfering a group of information specifying a condition stored on an SDRAM by the CPU 21, namely, a set of information necessary for feeding a certain image to an LCD-controlled IC 52 for displaying it on the LCD 51, to the LCD-controlled IC 52, is mounted.
