This invention related to a process for manufacturing the body shaped hard armour panel and also to the novel body shaped H.A.P. life saving product comprising the steps of Cutting of high performance polyethylene fiber; Putting 30-85 layers of the fibers for making a prepack; raising the temperature; opening the mould for fold and placing the prepack in the mould; closing the mould and increasing the pressure upto 50 ton; maintaining the temperature of the mould between 100-150° C and then increasing the pressure upto 350 ton; maintaining the temperature and pressure for 15-30 minutes; cooling the mould to make the core temperature of the pack below 70° C; opening two half of the mould to take out the pack, cutting and trimming the hard armour panel in conventional manner to obtain the body shaped hard armour panel.
