<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an antifreeze solution as a cooling liquid in a fuel cell having a separator of a porous material. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 includes shallow ribs 71, 81 with low rib heights as a thrust reduction means in a pushing region PA corresponding to the arranged position of a seal material 60 on the rib 70 of a cathode separator 22 and the rib 80 of the anode separator 23 brought into contact with a film electrode junction 21. As a result, high pressing applied to the film electrode junction 21 is reduced or canceled, which originates in the seal material 60, and causes a trouble when the seal material 60 is arranged between a cooling liquid passage 50 (cooling gas passage 226) and a cooling gas passage 55 (cooling gas passage forming unit 227). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
