PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material for cartilage tissue regeneration suitable for cartilage regeneration, especially the production of a ground substance, and the complex of a cartilage cell and the base material for the cartilage tissue regeneration used for cartilage tissue restoration.

SOLUTION: A biodegradable film having a honeycomb structure is used as the base material for the cartilage tissue regeneration, and the complex of the cartilage cell and the base material for the cartilage tissue regeneration is provided by cultivating the cartilage cell on the base material for the cartilage tissue regeneration.
