PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a television in which a user can teleview a not-yet-televiewed program in a series when the user televiews a series program. SOLUTION: Existence of a not-yet-televiewed program is searched from a teleview record when a user televiews a current series program. If that program exists, it is acquired by searching from a record, a broadcast wave or a network. The not-yet-televiewed program is provided using a program providing means available at that time, e.g. by recording the current program and presenting the not-yet-televiewed program first.
