PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing an insulated wire with windows, capable of making a space between the windows accurate. SOLUTION: In this device for manufacturing the insulated wire 6 with windows, which is provided with a punching machine 2 to punch the windows in a travelling insulator film 1 with the space left between them and a crimping roll 5 to stick the insulator film having the punched windows to a simultaneously travelling conductor 4, a detector 7 to detect the windows from the insulator film 1 is installed downstream at a prescribed distance from the punching machine 2 along the traveling passage of the insulator film 1, and the windows are timely punched when the windows are detected by the detector 7.
