PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data display device in which the display size or display position of an image can be freely set without losing visibility even when image data acquired by a confocal microscope system and an image based on a profile of the image are simultaneously displayed, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: In the system, image data captured into a processor 5 are developed in an image memory 7 by a CPU and the CPU is constituted in such a way that the image data are displayed on a display part 6 together with a window for displaying the image data on the basis of a preset display attribute. The CPU generates profile image data based on profile data for the specified image data, displays the profile image data based on the display attribute of the window for the profile image data and displays the profile image data on the profile window.
