PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve roughness on a machined surface by generating discharge pulse by electric charge stored in a condenser and restraining machining energy generated by the discharge pulse when the surface of a machined object is machined. SOLUTION: A current bypass circuit by a transistor T1 provided in a discharged energy absorbing circuit 7 surrounded by a dashed line separates current generated by the electric charge stored in the condenser C, which is to be energy of the discharge pulse, so as to decrease discharge current flowing as the discharge pulse between the machined object 1 and a discharge electrode 5.
