<p>A variable contour chaise longe has a support frame (1, 2, 3) supported on the floor or on legs and with guide rails (8, 19) on the inside to guide a first seat cushion (5) which is linked to a second seat cushion (6) by a hinge (20) and with the far end of the second cushion extending over the end of the frame supported on rollers (10). The first cushion is also linked to a seat back cushion (7) via two linking arms (11, 14) which enable the seat back to move from an upright position into a fully reclining position. The seat back lifting action is braced by a spring (17) and/or a servo drive.</p> |
