<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outdoor hood capable of preventing the entering of dust and insects in the atmosphere into a room and reducing the entering of rainwater into the room. <P>SOLUTION: This outdoor hood is provided on the outdoor side of a ventilating opening 1 opened on the surface of a wall so as to communicate the inside and outside of the room. The outdoor hood is provided with a hood part 5 having a ventilating air passage 5a and an opening communicated with the ventilating opening 1 through the ventilating air passage 5a at the lower part, and a filter member 14 provided in the hood part 5 so that the ventilating air passage 5a is blocked and preventing the entering of the insects, dust or rainwater. The filter member 14 is arranged in a V-shape with the ridge part directed downward.
