PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a triaxial fluxgate magnetic detector system and a terrestrial detecting method. SOLUTION: This magnetic detector system contains a pulse generator circuit for generating a pulse signal to output it as driving signal, a triaxial flux gate circuit wherein an analog value is respectively output to each of three equally-spaced flux gates per electromotive force generated from optionally-input driving signal, an A/D converter circuit, which converts the analog values output depending on three flux gates into three digital values, and a controller which computes an azimuthal angle from linear digital values having linearity with adjacent digital values among the above three values.
