PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synchronizer ring having durability and friction performance. SOLUTION: This synchronizer ring 10 is composed of a synchronizer ring base material 20 and a friction material 30 provided on an inner peripheral face 22 of the synchronizer ring base material 20. The inner peripheral face 22 of the synchronizer ring base material 20 has a conical shape, and the friction material 30 is constituted by winding/bonding twisted yarns 32 constituted by thermosetting resin and fibers on the iner peripheral face 22 spirally. Since the friction material is constituted by the twisted yarns constituted by thermosetting resin and fibers, flexibility of the frinction material is improved, and friction performance is improved because contact area when engaging of a friction face is increased. An oil discharge channel by twisting is formed using the twisted yarns, and oil discharge effect when engaging of the friction face is improved to improve friction performance.
