<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To electrically determine existence of compatibility between a connector and boards mounted on the connector without supplying power for driving to the connector. <P>SOLUTION: An RFID tag 103a for recording board information is attached to an option board 103. A reader/writer 104a is arranged on or in the neighborhood of an option connector 104. The reader/writer 104a reads the board information from the RFID tag 103a, so as to determine the electric compatibility between the option board 103 and the option connector 104.
