PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide content information to match a variety of search requests from a user by using a content search device that is used in searching for contents useful for the user in response to the user's request from a client device and in sending information about the contents found to the client device. SOLUTION: A profile storage part 110 stores the profiles of a user and contents and the relationship between the user and the contents. Based on the user profile and the relationship stored in the profile storage part 110, a content recommending part 130 recommends contents highly evaluated by users similar to the user who requested the search for the content.
