PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a river structure for forming an environment suitable for growth of an aquatic life such as a river fish by the synergistic effect of diversification of a river flow and an improvement in a water quality. SOLUTION: (1) In a conical structure, limestone is laid so as to cover a bottom part and an edge part of a recessed part by forming a riverbed in the conical recessed part. (2) In a flow stagnant structure, the limestone is laid on the riverbed of a gathering part and its periphery by forming the gathering part for allowing a river flow to flow in and out by overhanging a river to a riverside. (3) In the river structure, rock is embedded in the river flow. These structures are characterized by having any structure of a shock absorbing structure for arranging large limestone in front of the upstream side and arranging small limestone around the downstream side of the large limestone.
