PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve image quality by suppressing ink bleeding and the enlargement of a dot diameter. SOLUTION: This inkjet recording apparatus is equipped with a recording head for a colored ink, which ejects a photo-curing colored ink onto a recording medium, a recording head for a transparent ink, which ejects a photo-curing transparent ink onto the recording medium, and a photoirradiation device for applying light to the ink reaching the recording medium, so as to cure the ink. Since a control unit for controlling them controls the recording head for the colored ink, the recording head for the transparent ink, and the photoirradiation device, so that the colored ink and the transparent ink can be each individually cured, the mixing of the colored ink and the transparent ink can be prevented, and the ink bleeding and the enlargement of the dot diameter are suppressed, so that the image quality can be improved.
