PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type treating apparatus in which the operation of a tilting switch is simple. SOLUTION: The treating apparatus 10 is provided with a plurality of air bags A1-A8, a remote controller 50 for selecting a desired air bag from the plurality of air bags A1-A8, and a controller 102 for controlling the operations of the respective air bags A1-A8 on the basis of the selection of the remote controller 50. After the operations of the respective air bags A1-A8 are controlled on the basis of the selection of the remote controller 50 and each treatment is ended, when a prescribed key of the remote controller 50 is operated, the controller 102 controls the expansion and contraction of the respective air bags A1-A8 in the same order again.
