<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for thinly forming an electrolyte membrane on a base material by using an electrode of a fuel cell as the base material. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell, a resin is impregnated into the electrode base material in order to form the electrolyte membrane on a surface of the porous electrode base material; the surface of the electrode base material with the resin impregnated is polished; and the electrolyte membrane is formed on the polished surface of the electrode base material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
