<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reading device capable of realizing a high reading rate at fewer antennas as well as simple and convenient handling and superior workability for a storage container and reducing costs. <P>SOLUTION: The radio tag reading device comprises the storage container 1 storing a plurality of aligned radio tags 4 capable of transmitting the stored data with radio waves, and an antenna section 21 supporting the storage container 1 and having an antenna 51 communicating with the radio tags at a bottom side of the supported storage container. Guide plates 25a and 25b are arranged on the antenna section 21, and the direction of the storage container 1 supported by the antenna section 21 is controlled at a constant direction toward a certain direction to the radio waves radiated from the antenna. The radio waves received at the antenna 51 is demodulated, and the stored data of the radio tags 4 in the storage container 1, which is laid at a controlled direction by the guide plates 25a and 25b, is read out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
