<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent kickback of an operation pedal, even when operation equipment and dashboard are displaced to a rear side by excessive load from the front during the operation of the operation pedal. <P>SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a first bracket 15 fixed to a rear surface of the dashboard 12 for supporting the operation equipment 13 on a front surface, a second bracket 16 fixed to a strength member 22 of a vehicle body, a shear pin 21 normally connecting the first and second brackets 15 and 16 to each other, but breaking when the first bracket 15 receives excessive load to a rear side from the dashboard 12 side to allow rear side displacement of the first bracket 15, and a control lever 20 supported on the first and second brackets 15 and 16 via first and second pivotal shafts 25 and 26 and supporting the operation pedal 28 via a third pivotal shaft 27. An intermediate part of the operation pedal 28 is connected to the operation equipment 13. When the first bracket 15 is displaced to the rear side, the operation pedal 28 rotates to move the step part 28a to the front according to oscillation of the control lever 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
