PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new compound useful as a raw material (intermediate) for organic synthesis, an optical resolution agent, an auxiliary for asymmetric synthesis, etc., in a pharmaceutical and agrochemical field, etc., and especially capable of furnishing with an asymmetric environment and asymmetric discrimination power. SOLUTION: This new organosilicon compound is expressed by formula (1) (Ar<SP>1</SP>and Ar<SP>2</SP>are different from each other, and are each phenyl which may be substituted, 1-naphthyl which may be substituted or 2-naphthyl which may be substituted; R is a 1-6C alkyl which may be branched or phenyl which may be substituted; X<SP>1</SP>, X<SP>2</SP>and X<SP>3</SP>are identical to or different from one another, and are each a 1-6C alkoxy, Cl, Br or I; and n is an integer of 1-20).
