PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an observation device equipped with an operation unit which can be spatially separated from another constitutional group of the main body, and used for observing an object or observing a processing course, and where the display of the object or the processing course is influenced by the input of operation instructions and control instructions. SOLUTION: An apparatus for displaying and presetting an adjustment value about the device parameter and/or an apparatus for plotting the observation object or the processing course are loaded to the operation unit 2. Preferably, the apparatus can be constituted not only as an apparatus for performing the optical display of the adjusted device parameter and plotting the observation object or the processing course, but also, as a touch screen 8 capable of inputting the operation instructions and the control instructions with a touch on the display screen.
