PRESTRESSED CONCRETE SEGMENT FOR TUNNEL LINING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prestressed concrete segment for tunnel lining widely usable as a lining material of a shield tunnel where a shield inner surface exists in a severe corrosive environment from a flowing-down component and a shield tunnel for receiving large internal water pressure by a flowing-down water quantity. SOLUTION: This prestressed concrete segment for the tunnel lining introduces prestress in the tunnel axial direction and the peripheral direction by a PC steel material 4 obliquely arranged in the tunnel axial direction. Two or more sheaths 5 for inserting the PC steel material 4 are arranged in a crossing shape in a concrete cross section of the respective segments 1, 2 and 3. The whole inner peripheral surface of the respective segments 1, 2 and 3 is covered with resin. An end part of the PC steel material 4 inserted into the respective sheaths 5 is tensioned and connected by a joint metal fitting 6 in a joint surface between respective segment rings.
