PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication system effectively utilizing power and extending a communication available area. SOLUTION: In the wireless communication system employing a leaky transmission line, an antenna 13 with an impedance nearly equal to that of a termination resistor of the leaky transmission line 11 is connected to the end of the leaky transmission line 11, and the leaky transmission line 11 and the antenna 13 have directivity whereby radio waves respectively emitted from the leaky transmission line and the antenna do not interfere with each other.
