PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector device which is easily set and is convenient to use even though the device is moved after power-off. SOLUTION: The projector device is provided with a movement detection element, and the element is operated by a battery even during power-off of the projector device. At the time of power-off, trapezoidal distortion correction information of the projector device and a projection condition like focusing and zooming information are stored. In the case that it is detected that the projector device has been moved during power-off, information recorded at the time of power-off is not set but initial values of factory deliver are set when power is turned on next.
