PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace bar attached to the inner surface of the front board of a guitar, which provides a performer with convenience, by improving the sound of the front board by further improving the flexibility while maintaining the strength of the brace bar so that reverberation last for a longer period of time, and by reducing the weight of the brace bar so that the total weight of the guitar is reduced. SOLUTION: The brace bar 6, attached to the inner surface of the front board 1a of the guitar and supporting the front board 1a, includes a part in which the side surface contour line on a section is vertical from the lower end to a prescribed height, warps from the position of the prescribed height to the central side, and is installed like a taper toward the upper end.
