PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device, for detecting microwaves which surely prevents malfunctions, without requiring the user to perform specific operations. SOLUTION: The microwave detection device comprises a microwave detection section 1 for detecting predetermined microwaves; a GPS system 2 for calculating the present position of a moving vehicle, a display section 3; a storage section 4 for storing the present position information of the moving vehicle, when the microwave detection section 1 detects microwave; a warning location registering section 5, on which the positional information of locations requiring warning generation, when the microwave is detected; a warning section 6 for issuing a warning by voice and/or a warning by light; and a control section 7. The location and the time, the microwave detection section 1 has detected the microwaves are stored in the storage section 4. On the location stored in the storage section 4, when the location is not registered on the warning location registering section 5, issuance of warning from the warning section 6 is suppressed, even when the microwave has been detected.
