PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of an engine cover which prevents an attachment member from projecting in the clearance between the upper surface of an engine section such as a cylinder head cover and an engine hood, secures a large clearance between the engine cover and the engine hood, and facilitates the attachment of the engine cover. SOLUTION: In order to solve the problem, the engine cover of the invention includes a container-like main body which covers a sound source and a retainer structure to be retained by an engine member. The retainer structure is arranged at a position corresponding to the outer edge portion of the engine member and it is also located at a position lower than the upper surface of the engine member. In the engine cover, the retainer structure is an engagement member which is provided at the terminal end portion of the cover main body, and the retainer structure itself is engaged with the engine member.
