<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a water-based black ink composition excellent in light resistance and ozone resistance, having good hue as a black ink and good in storage stability as well. <P>SOLUTION: This water-based black ink composition contains at least one black dye selected from the group consisting of compounds of formula(1) and salts thereof and at least one dye other than the above black dye. In the ink composition, the hue is adjusted by adding the dye other than the black dye. The dye other than the black dye is preferably a compound having at least one group selected from an SO<SB>3</SB>H group, COOH group, SO<SB>3</SB>M group and COOM group( M is an alkali metal atom ) and being neither ammonium salt nor a salt with an organic cation, and also is preferably a dye selected from the group consisting of yellow dyes and fuchsine dyes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
