DEVICE AND METHOD FOR RECORDING INFORMATION AND RECORDING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for recording information and a recording program which can record a file with a large number of pixels and a proper capacity on a recording medium such as a CD-R and a storage means such as an HDD. SOLUTION: The device comprises at least: a file inputting means 10 for inputting an image file from a digital camera or a medium; a means of comparing the number of pixels 12 for comparing the number of pixels of the input image file and a specific number of pixels of higher definition than the standard number of pixels; a means of converting the number of pixels 13a for converting the number of pixels of the image file so that the number of pixels of the file becomes a specific number of pixels regardless of the number of pixels of an original image file when the number of pixels differs; a means of converting a file format 13b for converting the image file into a format usable for an image regenerating device; and a file recording means 14 for recording the converted image file and the input image file.
