PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner having good low-temperature fixing performance, texture and depth, capable of faithfully reproducing a real thing and capable of stably forming high-fastness images over a prolonged period of time and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the electrostatic charge image developing toner containing a binder resin, a colorant and a release agent, the release agent comprises a fatty acid ester compound represented by formula (A) and a fatty acid ester compound represented by formula (B) in a mass ratio of 90:10 to 99.8:0.2.
