PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical apparatus and a camera system by which preset photographing can be performed without requiring focusing on objects even in the case of photographing objects at different distances by using a preset function. SOLUTION: The optical apparatus provided with a storage means for storing preset information and a preset operation control means for controlling present operation by using the preset information stored in the storage means comprises also a focusing operation control means for controlling automatic focusing operation and a control means for controlling the operation of the preset function by the preset operation control means and the automatic focusing operation of the focusing operation control means.
