摘要 <p>A method for correctably determining a blood component accurately by measuri ng the hematocrit (Hct) value of the blood with high precision and with high reliability and a sensor used for the method are disclosed. A blood componen t measuring sensor has first and second analyzing sections. The first analyzin g section includes a first electrode system (11, 12) and a reagent layer (14) which has a redox enzyme for a blood component and a mediator. The first analyzing section redoxes the blood component with the redox enzyme in the presence of the mediator. The first electrode (11, 12) detects the redox current when a voltage is applied to determine the blood component. The seco nd analyzing section has a working electrode and a counter electrode. No mediat or is provided to the working electrode, and a mediator is provided to the counter electrode. The blood is introduced into the electrode system, a voltage is applied, and the current flowing is detected. In this way, the Hc t value of the blood is determined, and the amount of blood component can be corrected referring to this Hct value.</p>
